If you've driven for more than 5 minutes you will agree that the worst thing you can experience when you're in a hurry or running late for an appointment is a "Road Block". It's usually a construction road block, automobile accident or the typical morning and afternoon drive. Whichever you frequently encounter you know that it's a frustrating addition to your day. With every Road Block there's always a Detour and you need to be prepared for when it arises. Sometimes there will be a road sign telling you which way to go or you're familiar enough with the route that you'll recall your own shortcuts. Nonetheless, when you're driving finding a way to maneuver around a road block is a matter good driving skills or how much of a hurry you're in.
But what do you do when you approach a Road Block on the way to fulfilling your life goals. How do you respond to that delay? Do you already have a way of escape? You can't let it get you down. So what, things aren't going the way you had hoped, take a detour. Detour's are allowed on your life's journey as well and if you have a back up plan or a secondary route, the Road Block won't even phase you.
Starting today, you should welcome any road block that comes your way. Why? Because the detour is most likely the path you should be taking anyway.
